The Considered Guide to Luxury Providers
We research and write about the top end of rehab and recovery, wellness retreats, spas, fitness clubs, longevity clinics and holistic care. We cite our sources, we publish what things actually cost, and we tell you when the price is buying scenery rather than substance.
No paid placements. No affiliate rankings. No invented reviews.
Nobody pays to appear on this site, and we hold no referral relationships with the providers we write about.
Primary sources
Government, regulatory and peer-reviewed data, linked directly. Every article ends with full citations.
Real prices
We publish what things cost, label our estimates as estimates, and leave out numbers we cannot stand behind.
Willing to say no
Where luxury buys nothing clinically meaningful, we say so. That is the whole point of an independent guide.

Our Editorial Standards
A great deal of what is written about luxury providers is advertising wearing the clothes of journalism. Some of the categories we cover, addiction treatment above all, are decisions where getting it wrong carries a real cost. So we work to a fixed set of rules, and we publish them.
We take no money from the providers we cover.
No sponsored placements, no paid rankings, no referral fees, no affiliate arrangements with treatment centers.
We cite primary sources.
Government agencies, regulators, peer-reviewed research and official statistics, linked directly, with a full reference list at the end of every substantive guide.
We label estimates as estimates.
Where a figure is our own market assessment rather than a published statistic, we say so at the point of use. Where public data is incomplete, we leave the gap visible rather than filling it with a plausible number.
We do not claim medical review we have not had.
Our health and treatment coverage is carefully researched journalism. It is not medical advice, and we will never dress it up as a clinical opinion it is not.
We publish the unflattering conclusion.
Where a premium buys comfort rather than better outcomes, we say it plainly, even when the subject is a category we cover with enthusiasm.
About This Publication
Top Luxury Providers is an independent editorial site covering the top end of health, wellness and lifestyle services. We are not a booking agency, a directory or a matching service, and we do not place anyone with anyone. We write, we research, and we show our work.
Our readers are typically people making a large, consequential and often urgent decision, frequently on behalf of someone they love. That deserves better than a listicle assembled from press releases. We think the most useful thing an independent publication can do in this space is tell you what the money actually buys, what the law actually entitles you to, and which questions to ask before anyone takes a card number.
If you are in crisis
Some of what we cover concerns addiction and mental health. If you or someone close to you needs help right now, you do not need to read an article first.
In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call the SAMHSA National Helpline on 1-800-662-4357. Both are free, confidential and available 24 hours a day. To find licensed treatment near you, use FindTreatment.gov.
The Briefing
